Low Price 8GB iPhone 4 In The Works?

href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/08/23/us-apple-iphone-idUSTRE77M1P220110823?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FtopNews+%28News+%2F+US+%2F+Top+News%29">Reuters is reporting that in addition to launching a new handset over the next couple of months, Apple is also planning to release a low cost 8GB iPhone 4 as an entry level model. Their information comes from Asian suppliers, who are in the process of making the 8GB drives for the iPhone 4.

They’re also pointing at a launch in the near future, pegging the release date as “within weeks”.

Reuters’ sources also say the next official iPhone will be an iPhone 4S, with a larger screen but otherwise not significantly changed design from the iPhone 4, and it will launch by the end of September.
