AT&T To Start Throttling Users In October?

href="http://9to5mac.com/2011/07/28/att-to-implement-data-throttling-in-early-october-just-in-time-for-iphone-5/">According to 9to5 Mac (who have been on a spree on getting exclusives of late), AT&T is set to clamp down on you unlimited data plan users. If you’re on AT&T and have unlimited data, AT&T might start throttling your speed if they think you’re using too much bandwidth — a step that both Verizon and Virgin have already instituted.

This coincides with AT&T rolling out some LTE devices later this year, and the assumed launch of the next iPhone.

From the sounds of things, once you hit a predetermined data limit for the month, your speed will slow down significantly — but not stop.

Sorry jailbreakers, no more torrenting over your iPhone!
