In Two Weeks The iPad Outsells What The Xoom Does In A Year

As href="http://www.splatf.com/2011/07/xoom-shipments/">Dan Frommer points out, Motorola has released information saying that they expect to sell 1.3-1.5 million Xooms this year, and have shipped 440,000 Xooms this quarter.

9.2 million iPads were sold last quarter, that’s 1.5 million units every two weeks — and for months you couldn’t get hold of one for love or money.

That’s right, every two weeks the iPad 2 sells what Motorola plans to ship in an entire year with the Xoom.

Now, do you think Samsung is doing much better than that with the Galaxy Tab? Or how about the Asus Transformer? Has anyone ever seen an Android tablet in the wild? Because I sure haven’t.
