According to Bloomberg, just a day before the iPhone 4S is set to debut, it has sold out on all the carriers offering pre-orders. All of their websites indicate the phone is out of stock, with Verizon and Sprint stating plainly they don’t have any, and AT&T has a four-week ship time to get one.
Fear not, if you don’t already have one there are other options. You can grab one in person at the Apple Store (may require lining up), at the stores of any of those carriers, through Walmart, Sam’s Club, Best Buy and probably one or two other places I’m forgetting.
For what was widely regarded as a disappointing iPhone upgrade, this shows that people are still extremely interested in this upgrade — especially if you skipped the iPhone 4 when it debuted.
