Well, sort of. It’s complicated. In the ongoing legal battle with Kodak, the ITC has gone back and forth a number of time on the camera company’s claims. Yesterday the ITC failed to deliver a clear victory for Kodak, sending their shares plummeting. The ITC were re-analyzing a ruling that Kodak’s patents hadn’t been violated. Instead of deciding clearly one way or the other, they instead sent it back for further review. They upheld part of the ruling, rejecter part of it, and sent it back to the judge, who will have to wait at least until the end of August to make a ruling again.
Yeah, complicated. The confusing world of patent trolls, folks.
