According to an Analyst, Verizon iPhone 4 sales are slowing down, possibly due to the inevitable arrival of the iPhone 5. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. analyst Jason Armstrong said that Verizon will probably report a drop in sales for the device in Q2 of this year, hitting marginally below the 2.2 million units they shipped in Q1.
It’s previously been argued by some, including John Gruber, that bringing the iPhone to Verizon has seen Android plateau while iOS start to climb as people get the phone they want on the network they want.
My gut feeling is that sales are starting to slow as everyone holds off for the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 or whatever it is that Apple decides to sell next, expected to launch this Autumn.
