If you’re a gamer over a certain age, you probably remember Sid Meier’s Pirates!, an incredible game that was released on the Commodore 64, Apple II, PC booter, Apple IIGS, Macintosh, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Amiga, and the Nintendo Entertainment System between 1986 and 1991. Yeah, it was so good that it got ported to every platform on the planet, as was common in those days. 2004 saw the title remade for modern consoles and now seven years later, it’s been ported to iPad!

Available for just $3.99, you can buckle your swash across the Caribbean, seduce the Governer’s daughter, dance, fight, bury treasure, pillage ships, and generally live out all your childhood pirating fantasies.
