In May of this year, we heard that Mac gaming legends and Halo makers Bungie href="http://www.everythingicafe.com/is-bungie-headed-to-ios/2011/05/13/">had an interest in iOS, an interest that has born fruit with href="http://www.bungie.net/projects/aerospace/crimson/content.aspx?link=crimson_about">Crimson: Steam Pirates. Just to be clear Bungie is publishing this title under their Bungie: Aerospace imprint, the actual developers are a group called Harebrained Schemes.

Crimson is a free-to-play, turn-based steampunk pirate game that will be release on the first of September. It’ll come with 8 missions, and then further mission packs available for $1.99 a download. At this stage, multiplayer is limited to pass-and-play, but I hope networked asynchronous functionality will be added in the future.
