iPhone 5 Announcement To Happen Sept 7?

The widely held view is that Apple will have their iPhone 5 announcement at their annual Autumnal iPod Music event. Over the last few years, this shindig has taken place on on September 1st, 2010, September 9th, 2009, and September 9th, 2008, and generally heralds the introduction of new iPod models. With no new iPhone landing this Summer, all hopes are pinned on the iPhone 5 being announced at this event.

A Japanese site claims to have a date: Wednesday, September 7. Kodariwasen believes that the iPhone 5 will then be released in late September or Early October.
