href="http://www.everythingicafe.com/att-confirms-data-throttling/2011/07/29/">start throttling heavy data users, and just one day before we’re seeing reports of the first messages being sent out to heavy data users. This message
href="http://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/kv8it/and_so_begins_the_throttling/">comes via Reddit, where one user skelatwork claims he was sent the message after passing 11GB of usage during his billing cycle — which may sound like a lot, but he wasn’t using it for anything too severe:
I listen to podcasts and Pandora while I drive to work. When I get to work, I occasionally Tether to bypass Fortiguard (web filtering). I wasn’t going to be ‘naughty’ until I discovered they had ESPN Fantasy Football blocked… Bastards.
Have any of our readers being sent this message? How much has it slowed you down to be put on AT&T’s blacklist? Let us know in the comments.
