While not perfect, it’s one of Tim Schafer’s greatest works and a gaming classic. And it recently came to the Mac App Store — which is great, but you can understand my excitement when I found out that Double Fine has released a Psychonauts iOS app. The only problem is, it’s not the game.
Instead, it’s href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/psychonauts-vault-viewer!/id464585178?mt=8">Psychonauts Vault Viewer! a free universal app and companion to the full thing, and is merely a viewer for all the Memory Vaults from the game, allowing you to relive your favorite cutscenes away from your computer.
Yeah, I’ll be a lot more excited when the actual game comes to the iPad.
