Rumor: AT&T prepping for mid-September iPhone 5 release

The rumors continue to swirl around the iPhone 5. BGR’s sources say that AT&T has begun communicating launch plans internally for the iPhone 5. Employees throughout AT&T are encouraged to finish up any employee training for an influx of foot traffic in September. href="http://www.macrumors.com/2011/07/23/apple-retail-increasing-staffing-in-u-s-for-august-september-too/">MacRumors reports that Apple has started to increase staffing, going as far as to invite previous employees to return between August 15th and September 15th.

Both reports indicate an increase in staff, but they also speculating that the href="http://www.everythingicafe.com/tag/iphone-5/">iPhone 5 is the reasoning behind AT&T and Apple increasing staff.  Certainly makes sense. If you have September in the iPhone 5 release pool, you were probably feeling pretty good  about it even prior to this report.
